T. Rajendar is back to politics with Latchiya Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam

The multi-faceted T. Rajendar, also known as TR is back to politics, reveals his recent announcement. The actor-director who had earlier entered politics his party Latchiya Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam unveiled a revived title logo and interestingly it contained faces of M.G. Ramachandran, Jayalalithaa, Periyar E.V. Ramasamy and C.N.Annadurai. Apart from the announcement of being active in politics hereon, TR has also said that he will be taking part in the next assembly elections, just like his industry counterpart, Rajinikanth.  

At a press meet regarding the same, TR was quoted as saying, “I have decided to take a new route with regard to politics and will not lie low any more. When the time comes, I will decide whether to form alliances and who to align with, if needed.” The father of current contemporary actor Simbu (STR) also did not mince his words while speaking about his former ally DMK and took pot-shots at DMK's acting head M.K. Stalin. TR also clarified that his so Simbu will not be taking part in any of his political activities.
