Pankaj Purohit was given away this award for his avant-garde steps taken in the form of mentoring and counseling during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2017, he was awarded Rajiv Gandhi Award as the best artist and social activist by late Honourable Chief Minster Sheila Dixit at a felicitation ceremony as appreciation to honour the young achievers. He believes that growth is at the core of existence. He firmly affirms mentoring as a gateway for mankind to expand and emphasizes that progress is the key to that gateway which makes every citizen a global citizen. He looks forward to establishing connection across the planet as well as producing global citizens. With a keen focus on creating a global impact through mentoring, he thrives to create independent thinkers. Recently, he participated at a panel in Columbia University, New York on a variety of topics.
Social service is a vital part of his work that he does for the development of the society through providing advocacy to the youth. Since his father is a lawyer, he has been brought up in an environment where social activism is clearly evident. Before Covid-19 pandemic struck, his humanitarian organisation had distributed food and chocolates to the underprivileged young girls in the provinces of Madhya Pradesh. And during the pandemic his organisation distributed bath soaps, sanitizers, water bottles, food and essential items to various people across Madhya Pradesh as Corona warriors.
In fact, Pankaj Purohit believes in humanity and continues to inspire the Indian youth with his knowledge, creativity and passion for life and work.
