What were your IPL career statistics?

Sourav :. 2000 runs.

Me: Speak something about your International career span?

Sourav: I was a left handed batsman and a cricketer for India. I played for the Pune Warriers later in life and did a fantastic job.

How many runs did you score in the golden era of cricket?

Sourav: 25000 runs.

How did you manage captaincy as a cricketer on field with tougher opponents like Australia, England or other teams?

I did a fantastic job in cricket being a captain of the test cricket from 2000- 2015. I won overseas career wins in Australia, England South Africa and several other countries.

Being a batsman of stature and a captain of dominance how do you feel after doing a benevolent job as a team member after a match?

During my early days I enjoyed playing as a team member and later became a captain of the team. I enjoyed every single match of the team in respect to every player.

Me: Calcutta being a trade and commerce hub, how do you feel as a captain of the Team India?

Sourav: No answers. Never minded it.

Early with cricket we had radio FM gold , then came television , then we had auctions of players. During this period, how did you feel being the captain of the team?

Sourav: I loved every opportunity of being captain including Kolkata Knight riders. I loved being the team india Captain for 15 straight years.

Me: Dada, How’s the relationship game at the dressing room in Team india & Kolkata Knight riders?

Sourav: At team india we had a dressing room of 58 people including coaching staff. My job was to maintain sanctity in the dressing room which was a phenomenal job. At Kolkata Knight Riders we had a team of 35 people to maintain. We played cricket so well that dressing room was just a guest place for us.

Me: What’ s that ‘ God of off side’?

Sourav: It means I had a very strong left hand which was used to rotate the wrists for doing the best job on the off side.

Me: How many people were there in the crowd in the initial days?

Sourav: There were no people when playing for CAB and no people when playing for Bengal. When we were present for Eastern Zone , we had around 2000 people. Now we have a full stadium because of Broadcasting rights. It has gone on to the television.

Me: What were the solid pillars of Sourav Ganguly’s batting and fielding and occasional bowling?

Sourav: The solid pillars of Sourav Ganguly were Eating out with wife, Sun bath with daughter and chiselling with people.

Me: In cricket, the strong foundations were Cricketing shots and taking catches and doing fielding. I was called the god of off side for playing cricketing shots

Me,: Whats your pie graph for offside runs?

Sourav70% of my runs were on the offside. And 30 % were on the leg side.

Me: What were your rules being playing on your side of cricket, captain?

Sourav: I love playing cricket from the very start of my life. I love playing cricket on virtual basis with this boy. That is why I ‘m giving interviews.

Me: What are the core agenda’s between the coach, selectors and the captain?

Sourav: The coach decides the team, the selectors decide the the team members and the captain plays on the field with the team.

Me: How many players are there waiting on the benches of cricket to get a chance to play for India till the team is selected.?

Sourav: there are around 2000 players playing in the country any time. Coach asks for information from the coaching staff.

Me: What is the number of people in a cricket stadium visible to a 210 ° eye?

Sourav: Depends on the cricket stadium. Depends on the number of seating.

Me: Sourav, what life style you used to lead as a cricketer?

Sourav: The cricketing life style.

Me: How many cameras are there on the field for broadcasting?

sourav: 20 approximate.

Me: What’ s the joy of hitting the wicket directly in a run out?

Sourav: absolute fun and seriousness.

Me: What is the best way to score runs for Sourav Ganguly?

Sourav: Absolutely offside.

Me: What is your favourite cricketing shot?

Sourav: Cover Drive.

Me: What’s the great zeal about your stance? Where did you learn/develop it.

Sourav: The stance In life was of my father. The batting stance was of my mother. She taught me that.

Me: What wa te stance of your brother Snehasish Ganguly?

Sourav: He always respected my cricket.

Me: you scored a debut century. How do you feel about it in your career? Did is help in being the one of the leading run scorers in cricket?

Sourav: I felt absolutely best to score century in my debut. Or really helped to me to become the leading room scorer in cricket.

Me: Which bowling can you pick up very well? Spin,pace or medium fast?

Sourav: Medium fast. since I used to bowl medium fast.

Me: How do you handle player cum coach concept in IPL?

Sourav: depends on the team

Me: BCCI president Saurav Ganguly. How do you handle the pressure?

Saurav: Its easy for me since I’m from the game.

Me: What’s the ICC position for the BCCI?

Saurav: Very important.

Me: Why BCCI wasnt given a nod to host 100 for cricket?

Saurav: No information was available from iCC. Players did not participate till approval was given by BCCI.

Me: What was IPL best moment for you?

Me: Wearing the Jersey was a win.

Me: ICC media rights are filled by BCCI coffers. What have you got to develop revenue for the BCCI?

Sourav: ICC media rights are given to Indian state and are distributed according to matches.

Me: Who is the best way to get the pink ball cricket available in. Gullys?

Sourav: Pink ball cricket is for main ground. For gully cricket, it is pink rubber ball.

me:How to address the International calander with IPL calander ?

Sourav: that is done mutually.

Me: What is the best chance to win the world T20 cup?we will work hard to win the world Cup championship.
