Dow builds new polyurethane factory in India
On May 22, 2018, Dow Polyurethanes, a company of Dow Chemical, announced that it will open a new polyurethane factory in Maharashtra, India. This is a further expansion of the company's strong network of over 20 original production, development and technical service sites in the EMEAI region.
The new plant in the industrial area of Lote Parshuram, Maharashtra, India, has increased its production capacity and technical capabilities to provide customers in the region with high-quality polyurethane materials and customized solutions to serve the growing market segments such as consumer durables. , infrastructure and cars.
The newly-built polyurethane factory further consolidated Dow's investment in the region. Dow recently established a specialized polyurethane application development laboratory at the Dow India Technical Center (DITC) in Navi Mumbai, India. The laboratory will accelerate the innovation and collaboration with customers in the area.
