Dow builds new polyurethane factory in India

On May 22, 2018, Dow Polyurethanes, a company of Dow Chemical, announced that it will open a new polyurethane factory in Maharashtra, India. This is a further expansion of the company's strong network of over 20 original production, development and technical service sites in the EMEAI region.

The new plant in the industrial area of ​​Lote Parshuram, Maharashtra, India, has increased its production capacity and technical capabilities to provide customers in the region with high-quality polyurethane materials and customized solutions to serve the growing market segments such as consumer durables. , infrastructure and cars.

The newly-built polyurethane factory further consolidated Dow's investment in the region. Dow recently established a specialized polyurethane application development laboratory at the Dow India Technical Center (DITC) in Navi Mumbai, India. The laboratory will accelerate the innovation and collaboration with customers in the area.
