On November 7, the makers of 'Leo' dropped a million-dollar picture featuring Kamal Haasan and Vijay, two of the biggest superstars of Tamil cinema. Reportedly, the photo was taken when Kamal Haasan dubbed for 'Leo' a few months ago. For the uninitiated, Kamal Haasan's voice as Vikram appears in the climax of 'Leo', which connects the film to Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Kamal Haasan had a cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' and it was one of the high-points of the film. It suggested that 'Leo' also belonged to the LCU and opened up the possibility of bringing Kamal Haasan and Vijay in a film together.
On November 7, Jagadish, co-producer of 'Leo' took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share an epic picture featuring Kamal Haasan and Thalapathy Vijay. His caption read, "I have always known you as a Legend as far as my memory goes back. I was fortunate to spend time with you and was immensely surprised to see how down to earth you approach each and every aspect. Wishing you a happy birthday @ikamalhaasan sir . a LEGEND forever (sic)."

ABOUT LOKESH CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
Lokesh Kanagaraj began LCU with Karthi's 'Kaithi' and then followed it up with Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram'. His fans were eagerly waiting to see if Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' belonged to the same universe as 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram'. Their questions were answered as 'Leo' hit theatres on October 19. During the climax, Kamal Haasan's Vikram - without making a physical appearance - speaks to Vijay's Parthiban asking him to join his mission.
Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that the universe will be explored further with the introduction of new characters. He promised 'Kaithi 2', 'Vikram 2', and a standalone film on Suriya's Rolex (remember his explosive cameo in Vikram?). Through these three films, the Lokesh Cinematic Universe has expanded further.
