SRK to play Don-like character in King?

In Short

  • Shah Rukh Khan may play a grey character in 'King', a project he will be doing with Suhana Khan
  • The character is being designed keeping in mind the audience's desire to see SRK in grey shades
  • The shoot of the film will begin in May

Shah Rukh Khan might play a character similar to ‘Don’. However, it has no connection to Farhan Akhtar’s next with Ranveer Singh. If reports are to be believed, then Shah Rukh Khan will play a grey character just like the one in ‘Don’ in ‘King’, the project where he will collaborate with daughter Suhana Khan.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, “Shah Rukh Khan is making films for the audience and is well aware of their urge to see him in shades of grey. ‘King’ is his passion project, and he has been meticulously working on all aspects of the project with Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh. They have collectively carved a very cool full of attitude and swag character with shades of grey for SRK in ‘King’.”

Siddharth Anand will be co-producing the film while Sujoy Ghosh will be directing it. Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana will also be working together for the first time in the film.

The preparations are also in full swing and King Khan will also reportedly sport long hair. The same source also said, “While the character designing is already done, Siddharth Anand is presently working on the action blocks with international stunt teams. Sujoy, on the other hand, is getting the dialogue draft ready, whereas SRK is overseeing the creative process and training with Suhana on some new-age action sequences.”

While there has been no official confirmation of the same, this is surely an exciting update if it turns true. A source had earlier told IndiaToday. In that the film will go on floors this May.
