Telugu actress Jayasudha’s husband Nitin Kapoor commits suicide, condolences pour in for deceased producer!

Telugu actress-politician Jayasudha’s husband Nitin Kapoor was found dead, after he reportedly committed suicide in Mumbai on March 14, 2017. The 58-year-old actor-producer Nitin jumped to his death from the terrace of a six-floored building, much to shock of his family and film fraternity. Jayasudha, a prominent face in Telugu cinema and also former MLA for the Congress in Secunderabad married Nitin Kapoor, also the cousin of yesteryear’s Bollywood superstar Jitendra in the year 1985. As soon as the news of his suicide and death came to light, the condolences have started pouring in on the social media. Actor Mohan Babu took to Twitter to extend his support to the grieving family and even called Jayasudha his sister. It is confirmed that Nitin Kapoor committed suicide by jumping from the building terrace. There were also rumors hinting him of consuming poison, but that holds no truth. According to the reports, the deceased was living in his sister’s house at Sea Glimpse, 7 Bungalows, J P Road, Andheri West, Mumbai. He has been jobless since last 18 years and has been in the depression for past one and half years. For last one month, he had been taking psychiatric treatment at Kokilaben Hospital. On March 14, during afternoon 1.45 pm, Nitin went on the terrace of the six-floored building by breaking the door lock of the terrace and jumped from the terrace and committed suicide.

Heartfelt condolences from all quarters have started pouring in. Telugu actor-producer, Mohan Babu took to Twitter to express his grief on hearing the news of Nitin Kapoor’s death. He wrote: “Spoke to my sister Jayasudha. Heartbroken. She is devastated. Some media networks are giving out false news. She has requested privacy now.” He further tweeted, “I join her in requesting the media to respect her privacy. Praying God to give her & her sons strength. Dear Nitin, RIP my friend.”

There are also reports of how Jayasudha’s husband had tried killing himself due to his financial issues in the past. Nitin had produced a couple of films which proved to be a failure, pushing him into further depression. Nevertheless, the couple seemed very much in love and was married for 30 years. Survived by two sons-Nihar and Shreayan, who are into the film industry, one could never imagine Nitin to take such an extreme step.
