Mukesh Ambani, Wife Nita Get ‘Life Threat’ in Call to Reliance Foundation Hospital, Police Initiate Probe

In this regard, a case is being registered at the DB Marg Police Station and Mumbai police are investigating the matter. Police said the caller is likely to be traced soon.

The caller issued life threats to chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, and children Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani.

Mumbai: A life-threatening call was on Wednesday received by the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital from an unknown number. On the phone, the caller issued life threats to chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, and children Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani. Soon after the call was received and the matter was reported, police initiated action to trace the source.

In this regard, a case is being registered at the DB Marg Police Station and Mumbai police are investigating the matter. Police said the caller is likely to be traced soon.

Offence in this incidence is being registered at DB Marg Police Station and further investigation in this matter is being done by Mumbai Police.

As per reports, the life threatening call was received on the landline number of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital at 1257 from an unknown number in which the caller issued life threats to Mukesh Ambani, Nita, Akash and Anant. On the phone call, the caller has also threatened to blow up the Hospital.

On August 15 this year, a similar call was made to the Reliance Foundation hospital and reports suggest, the individual had made eight threatening calls to the hospital’s display number, threatening Mukesh Ambani’s life.

It must be noted that a Scorpio sedan with 20 explosive gelatin sticks and a threat letter was discovered outside Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai home ‘Antilia’ last year.

After Antilia’s security team alerted police to the suspicious Scorpio, a police team, along with bomb disposal and canine squads, quickly arrived on the scene to investigate.
