Sonali Bendre Thanks Husband Goldie Behl For Being Her Source of Strength, Love And Joy as She Battles Cancer

Sonali wrote marriage is standing by each other, through thick and thin, in sickness and in health.

In life people come across many things that pull them down either mentally, physically or spiritually, and as far as the popular saying, how we react determines who we are, goes, actress Sonali Bendre has shown that despite suffering from an illness that could make her weak, she still finds time for her family and friends. The latest message from her to her husband Goldie Behl on their wedding anniversary is not only beautiful but heartwarming too.

Sonali has been posting a good number of pictures on her Instagram page ever since she was diagnosed with cancer, and has been sharing each and every event she has come across with her fans, whether it be about reading books or attending a friend’s bridal shower. The latest picture or a series of them, feature her and husband and in the caption, she wrote how Goldie has been her pillar of strength, love and joy, and how he has been with her every step of the way.

“As soon I began to write this… I knew instantly that I wouldn’t be able to put down in words all the emotions and thoughts that were running through my head. Husband. Companion. Best friend. My rock. For me, that’s @goldiebehl. Marriage is standing by each other, through thick and thin, in sickness and in health… and god knows, how we’ve been through that this year.

“What not many people realize is that cancer is not just an individual battle… it’s something that a family collectively goes through. I was also able to go on this journey, knowing that you’d juggle all your responsibilities, and take on some more and hold fort back home… all this while shuttling between two continents.

“Thank you for being my source of strength, love and joy, for being with me every single step of the way… thank you is such an understatement for how I feel. What do I say about someone who is a part of you, who is yours and nothing and nobody else matters?”

She concluded the note with, “Happy anniversary Goldie!”

Sonali had earlier too written about her condition and what she has been going through after receiving chemotherapy treatment for her cancer. She next posted some pictures of herself, her husband and son celebrating Diwali in New York and how being far from home it was unconventional one.

With such a high flying spirit, it’s no surprise that many find her to be an inspiration.
