To look at it, you would never guess this is one of the mosts competitive bakkies on the market. And looks matter oh so much. You can almost hear the Mahindra marketing department’s collective gasp of horror when this tender model was delivered into their care. Nevertheless, they tried. A series of TV ads do their damndest to stuff this ogre into a princess’s gown. The truth is, it’s the ogre everyone fell in love with. They’d have done better to name the Mahindra Bolero after the Dreamworks princess, Fiona, instead of some Spanish dance.
