In 2016, Anant Ambani's weight loss became an instant talk of the town with everyone becoming curious to know the secret behind such a dramatic transformation.

1. Limit calorie consumption

In a conversation with Business Insider India, Ambani's trainer Vinod Channa revealed that the former followed a very strict low-fat diet, consuming a limited amount of calories in a day. "His diet includes lots of vegetables, sprouts, cottage cheese, lentils, pulses, and half a teaspoon of ghee. This was the only diet he had to stick to. His calorie consumption in a day was 1200 -1400 calories," the trainer said.

2. No junk food

According to various online reports, Anant Ambani underwent significant lifestyle changes in order to lose weight, one of which was avoiding junk food. Additionally, he followed a strict vegetarian diet to reduce his calorie intake and speed up his progress.

3. Vegetarian diet

According to trainer Vinod Channa's revelation, Anant Ambani adhered to a strict vegetarian diet for over a year to achieve his goal. The primary diet included vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products like milk and cheese.

4. Timely meals and regular water intake

Much like his father Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani also had several small meals throughout the day at regular intervals. Along with following a basic and vegetarian diet, he kept track of his water consumption, which helped him in his weight loss journey.

5. Workout

Anant Ambani used to engage in rigorous physical activity for 5-6 hours every day, including walking 21 km, weight lifting, cardio, yoga, and other functional training methods. Talking about Anant Ambani's workouts, Channa told Business Insider India, "I also used to give him break diets so that he felt motivated for regular workouts. Workout sessions, with time, became fun and enjoyable for him."
