Michelle and Barack Obama were all smiles as they celebrated their wedding anniversary on Tuesday, 3 October.
Taking to social media, Michelle shared an adorable snap of the couple, revealing they have been married for 31 years. Alongside a picture of the two against a sunset background, Michelle said: "31 years, and a lifetime to go. I love going through life with you by my side, @BarackObama. Happy anniversary, honey! ❤️"
In the image, the pair look radiant and happy as they mark the lovely occasion. And, needless to say, tributes began to pour in from fans and celebrities alike. Singer, Alicia Keys, said: "sooo beautiful!!!!!! may love continue to flourish all around u in every may!!!! blessings!!!!!!!" while actress, Julia Roberts, simply commented "😍😍".
The Obamas regularly post loving tributes to each other, sharing messages of affection. In June, Michelle shared a gorgeous photo of her husband with their two daughters, Malia and Sasha, to celebrate Father's Day in the United States.
Michelle shared a lovely throwback snap of Barack with his arms around his daughters when they were younger — in a background presumed to be The White House during Barack's time as President of the United States.
Captioning the post, Michelle wrote a heartfelt message to her husband. "Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads out there — and to this guy in particular," she said. "@BarackObama, thank you for being such a loving, caring, and attentive dad to our two beautiful girls. We love you so much! 💕"
