According to a Pinkvilla report, the actor as a part of his preparation has attended several acting workshops with Sriram and trained acting coaches to polish his body language and further step into the shoes of the war hero. While he is presently going through the scripts, it is also reported that Agastya might go through extensive workshops and rehearsals before beginning the filming schedule,

“December and the first half of January will be spent by Agastya reading the script and also doing some workshops to rehearse for the schedule ahead,” a News18 report suggests further adding that the director wanted a young actor to play the part of Arun Khetarpal and thus felt that Agastya would fit the role like a hand in a glove.

In the meantime, an official statement is yet to be received from the actor’s or the director’s end. It is pertinent to note that Agastya who made his debut in acting with a soft role as Archie Andrews will be transitioning into a more challenging role as an army officer with Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis. Set in the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, the film will provide him a better chance to showcase his acting skills and performance in a serious and intense role.
