Tamil hero Vijay Antony has got popularity in Telugu with the movie Bichagadu. The actor is now busy with an upcoming social drama, Indrasena, that is scheduled for a November 30th release. He's in Hyderabad today as part of the promotions of the movie. He revealed a lot of things about the movie. Check out the interview here.
What is the movie about?
The film is about two brothers. The movie is inspired by true incidents. We tried to showcase the emotional bond between the siblings which is going to be the highlight of the film.
Are you doing a dual role in this film?
I’m playing a proper dual role for the first time in career. I took a lot of care in doing this and managed to show variation in both the characters.
Why are you not opting commercial films?
So far, I did all commercial entertainers only. Commercial movie is one which does well and audiences accept it.
Why are you producing films on your own banner?
That's a comfortable process for me do that I need not restrict myself to any external factors or burdens.
What is your moto behind releasing first ten minutes of the film?
That's a new promotional stunt. The first ten minutes creates curiosity over the movie rather revealing the entire plot.
Did you face any problems from censor board?
A) No. The censor board did not find any fault with us for using GST but they asked us to replace it with another word due to a major controversy raised due to a recent film.
Are you directing any film?
A) No. I'm enjoying career as an actor, musician, and editor.
When are you doing a straight Telugu film?
A) Very soon. A lot of scripts are coming my way but I'm just waiting for the right one.
What are your Upcoming projects?
I'm done two Tamil films now. I will reveal the complete details soon.
