"Nakshi Kantha" is a traditional art of hundreds of years which has survived in remote villages in Bengal, India. Nakshi means a pictorial representation which is given shape on a piece of fabric using thousands of stitches all done by hand-work only. The delicacy of hand-work can easily be observed if you look at the images attached.

Every effort has been made to keep the prices as reasonable as possible. We request you to spare a thought for the poor artisans who have done this minute painstaking work and the time involved in preparing the kantha scarves is in months. This for us is a mission to provide them livelihood and help improve their living standards.
