Mukesh and Nita’s eldest son, Akash Ambani graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brown University in the United States.This foundation in economics likely proved valuable as he took on leadership roles within Reliance Jio, a major telecommunications company under the Reliance Industries umbrella. He is serving as the Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) since June 2022. He was earlier serving as non-Executive Director on RJIL board since October 2014.
