Tree Wormwood

Known also as tree wormwood, Artemisia arborescens is a tried and true silver foliage plant that provides a year-round highlight with its attractive deeply disected soft grey leaves. Coping with both sun and light shade, it is a great option as a softly mounding hedge linking sunny and shaded aspects of the garden. A low maintenance quick growing perennial that thrives in hot, dry, coastal and exposed conditions. Often used in mediterranean, seaside or cottage themes. Fire retardant and frost hardy.
How to grow

Full sun/part shade, must have free-draining soil as it dislikes wet feet. Copes well in harsh conditions, including salt laden or exposed sites. Extremely drought tolerant. Prune for shape after flowering and to maintain density.
