The 29th Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture — themed “Para Sa Lahat, or “for everyone” — kicked off the long weekend on Friday, Sept. 1 and Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park. Hundreds of Filipino American residents and others joined for the festivities.

The annual event was hosted by nonprofit FilAm ARTS, and its goal is to uplift Filipino American arts and culture, bringing the region’s diverse community together.
The two-day event featured art showcases, vendors and special performances from community artists including Jocelyn Enriquez, rock band INTRoVOYS, and Gingee. Philippine music and dance group performers included Kayamanan Ng Lahi, the Malaya Dance Company, Pakaraguian Kulintang Ensemble and the Rondalla Club of Los Angeles.
