Piraeus is the main port of Athens and the most important in Greece. Athens, the capital of Greece, is located just over 30 minutes from the port. Where is located the Piraeus Cruise port Cruise Terminal
The cruise port of Athens is located 12 km away in the city of Piraeus. The journey between Piraeus and Athens is about 30 minutes. There are three main cruise terminals (A, B, C). Transport between Athens Airport and the Port of Piraeus
Taxis are available at the airport. The journey to the port of Piraeus will take about 40 minutes. To reach the center of the city, a fixed rate is applied.
It is possible to reach the port either by bus (route X96) or by metro (line 3 of the airport with a transfer on line 1 at Monastiraki station. The journey is about 90 minutes.
Private transport is also available.

Acropolis
In the center of the city is this rocky plateau that served as a citadel and a religious sanctuary. The Parthenon sits at the top. You will have to take marble stairs to get there. They can be very slippery in case of rain.

Temple of Olympian Zeus
The temple located at the foot of the Acropolis was built on several sciècles and completed by Hadrian in the year 131.

Located on the southeastern slope of the acropolis and considered the first theater in the world.

The ancient athens stadium was renovated for the first Olympic Games of the modern era in 1896.
