Location of AC evaporator coil
Hi guys,
My AC has been smelling worse and worse over the past two years and I recently injected Klima cleaner foam up the drain tube (2 cans).
The smell still comes and goes and what was more concerning was that not a lot of cleaner came back down the drain tube. Two whole cans used, about 1/10th of a can came out..... Bizarre
I'd like to get access to the evap coil and spray it on directly, does any one know the location of it and if there's anyway to get direct access via a can with a sprayer wand?

The evaporator is completely enclosed within the heating/AC plenum and not directly accessible without a lot of disassembly. However, you could try injecting the cleaner/disinfectant directly into the drain port nipple (after removing the hose).

The general idea is to get as close to the evap as possible and some people have a better time doing that by taking the blower motor out in some cars and the evap could be "right there" or close enough for a hose.
Other guys on Bimmer forums drill a hole in their plastic and insert the hose through there because their schematics show the evap is almost impossible to get to.
I'm looking to get info on where the evap is on the nx200 so I can figure out my personal plan of action.

Pardon my ignorance but I can't read that

See if this version helps to visualize where the evaporator (item 10) is located within the HVAC assembly.
I do not think item 9 (supplementary electric heater) is offered within the USA market.

That's great. Thank you for sending.
From what I can see, going through the blower motor may be good. Hard to tell what twists and turns lie in the ducting
