Citi has had a presence in Senegal since 1975, and now serves a client base of more than 350 businesses and corporations. On November 14, 2006, Citibank, N.A. DAKAR branch was converted into Citibank Senegal SA, a locally incorporated subsidiary that remains a Citi entity with Citibank, N.A. New York as majority shareholder.
