Actor Abhishek Awasthi, who will next be seen in the much-talked about TV show Prem Ya Paheli... Chandrakanta, is all set to get married by the end of this year with his long time girlfriend Ankita Goswami. Abhishek admits that it was her cooking skills that made him fall in love with her. “She cooks amazingly well. I can apologize to her even without committing any mistake just for that. The two have been in a relationship for the past two years. “Our families have met and are planning our roka in a few days. We will tie the knot by the end of this year. She is the kind of girl I have always wanted to marry . After being at wrong places, God has finally landed me at the right one,"he added. Ankita is nine years younger to him but that has never been a matter of concern. “Not at all. Being an actor, I get to work with people across age groups and I get along with every one,“ the actor said. As we all know, Abhishek was in serious relationships with Rakhi Sawant and Kalapana Sonawane. He had reportedly even got engaged to the latter. Interestingly, Kalapana,too, was a great cook. But, things didn't turn out the way he wanted them to. He also went on to admit later that dating Rakhi was the worst decision of his life. "She is a shameful past and the biggest mistake of my life." he said. When asked if his failed relationships still bother him, he said, “My past doesn't matter anymore. I am superstitious and don't want to jinx my beautiful present with Ankita.“
