Save The Children has named Enrique Iglesias a Changemaker for Children after his fans helped him raise over 350,000 dollars to benefit the nonprofit organization.
Enrique’s fans rallied from all over the world to support the cause through online contributions, fundraisers, auctions, merchandise and meet and greets, all of which contributed to $353,000 and counting.
The total includes more than $75,000 for the organization’s HEART (Healing and Education through the Arts) programs in Mexico. Plus, through a partnership with Microsoft, Iglesias donated $200,000 in software to strengthen literacy programming for elementary school-age children in El Salvador, Guatemala and Peru.

“I have the best fans on the planet,” says Iglesias, who has been a strong supporter of Save The Children since 2015. “They never cease to amaze me with their incredible compassion and support. I am so proud of what we have accomplished and I am thankful for my partnership with Save the Children.”
To celebrate the fundraising milestone, Save the Children and the Spanish singer invited Iglesias’ fan Lillian Robinson to sign a life-sized symbolic check on behalf of fans who participated to support the global humanitarian organization.
