The Bolero has been in production in 2000. There are different variants of the Bolero but the one in South Africa is a bakkie/workhorse. It is available in a single and double cab form. It has ‘loader’ and ‘dropside’ options that can accommodate any cargo. Its Maxitruck is fitted with Mahindra’s M2DICR 2,5-litre turbo diesel engine. The engine has a power output of around 46-56 kW and 195 Nm of torque. It has been made for the Indian domestic market and is also fit for village roads. Hence, its four-cylinder turbo diesel engine allows it to travel rough roads with its load.
