Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha has come a long way. The daughter of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha made her Bollywood with the Salman Khan-led blockbuster Dabangg. She also underwent a weight loss journey that inspired several others. Between films, events and fitness, the actor takes out time to follow other passions as well such a painting, dancing and more. And when Sonakshi isn't promoting films, doing Pilates or working her abs out to exhaustion, she can be seen (through Instagram) lounging around, or striking a fierce pose or two, in her apartment in Juhu, Mumbai.

Sonakshi Sinha's House in Mumbai | Family First

Sonakshi's father, Shatrughan Sinha, is probably a firm believer in the rephrased version of a popular maxim—the family that lives together, stays together. Although Shatrughan and his wife, Poonam Sinha, have given their children complete freedom to make their own choices, the family prefers to live together, albeit in separate apartments in the same building. In 2008, Sonakshi Sinha's famous plush childhood house, called ‘Ramayan', was razed to the ground, to make way for a ten-storey building in its place. After four years of construction, in 2012, the Sinha clan moved into the top two floors of the building.

Sonakshi Sinha's House in Mumbai| Cozy with a Hint of Vintage

Each of the Sinha siblings occupy their own floor (one each for the twins, Luv and Kush), while Sonakshi also has an office space to herself. There is also supposedly an entire floor which has been made into a gym. Sonakshi Sinha has decided to utilize her space as a work area; a place where she can hold dance practices and meetings. Sonakshi's mother was hands-on when it came to designing the work studio. The living area has a comfortable sofa, and a touch of grey is added through cushions and blinds. The apartment has a very simple design with a limited colour palette mainly based on shades of white and brown. There's also a hint of a vintage vibe to it. The high ceilings make the space seem bigger, while the white walls emphasize the openness of the apartment.
