Bollywood Base in Bandra-Kurla Complex
After Virat Kohli's Worli apartment splurge, it's now the time for Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan to do up the interiors of their plush new apartment in Mumbai. The couple purchased the 5,500 square feet at a high-end residential complex, Signia Isles, at Bandra-Kurla Complex for INR 21 crore in 2015. The deal values the place at INR 38,000 per square feet. The Signia Isles building has been designed by Talati Panthaky Associates. The show flat has been designed by the in-house team at Sunteck Realty.
Actress Sonam Kapoor also bought a 7,000-square-foot duplex apartment in Signature Island, in the same complex as the Bachchan couple, for a little over INR 35 crore in 2015.
Real Estate Hotspots: Worli to Dubai
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan may call Jalsa, located at Juhu, Mumbai, their home, but the couple also have an apartment on the 37th floor of Skylark Towers located on Annie Besant Road in Worli, Mumbai. The other famous couple with an apartment in Worli is Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. The 5-bedroom apartment, which cost them a whopping INR 41.14 crore, comes with a 20-foot terrace on all sides.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan also own a palatial villa in Dubai's Sanctuary Falls in Jumeirah Golf Estates. The fully-furnished villa has a Scavolini-designer kitchen and Nolte wardrobes, along with cutting-edge home automation system and concierge service. The villa spreads over 5,600 square feet, and the price range varies between UAE Dirhams 15 to 35 million. Shah Rukh Khan also owns a mansion in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai worth INR 17.84 crore. It comes with six bedrooms, a private beach, and a tree house from little AbRam.
