The Case-it Open Tab Monster Eye is a premium binder that is sturdy enough to withstand the toughest of school years. This binder has a set of three round rings that have 2"" of capacity. It features a Velcro flap that holds the binder closed and keeps your items from falling out. The interior has a five subject expanding file folder to protect and organize all of your important documents. The expanding file folder has a large zippered pocket to hold pens, pencils, and any other class room needs. The S-835-ME, like all of our Case-it binders, is made out of Kraft board to ensure that the binder will keep its firm, stiff shape that will last you the entire school year. Pick your favorite monster and tackle your homework like the beast you are! Case-it knows that our customers depend on our binders every day, throughout the year. As such, our products come with a 1 year warranty. Original proof of purchase is needed. Note: This warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect, heat, humidity, maintenance, or modification of the product. If it is determined that the problem is a result of any of the above, the warranty will become null and void. The original purchase receipt is required for all warrantied items. I got this for a grandson who loves drawing and also loves dinosaurs. It is was a good price both cuteness and the little filing place for drawings etc I did purchase a some of those clear 3 ring protective sheets so he could keep drawings in those inside the binder without punching holes in his drawings. He likes that he has the binder to keep his drawings together.

So my daughter is 11 and she's in sixth grade she is not the most organized human being in the world and we've been working on it it seems like since she made her debut 11 years ago. That being said she did okay with a regular binder the problem was they broke down well before their time. After going through five binders in the first half of the school year I decided that we were going to do a Trapper Keeper.
But I didn't want to spend the money on a Trapper Keeper, I needed something sturdier. They were okay for what they were but I needed something that was going to last and something she liked. But we were cruising Amazon she saw this one. I looked at the reviews and I figured why not what's the worst that can happen it doesn't work and I return it. Let me just say that this thing has revolutionized her organization. I know that sounds exaggerate - it's school work who cares - but she went from shoving everything in her bag pack to now it's all in one thing, it's sturdy, it's solid, it's well made. I mean I know those all mean the same thing but come on. There's no plastic cover for her lil spicy brain to pick at. I don't have to worry about cheap plastic covered cardboard falling apart in the middle of the class for her. This has small pockets for what's needed the velcro is strong enough to hold the rings are easy to open and do a very good job of containing the mess that is her life. I can't recommend this enough and in fact her friends that have seen it have asked their parents to buy them one as well. It has a secondary pocket on the inside with separators for different classes and she uses those. It has a mesh pencil holder area with a small pocket under that and in the front it has a small zippered pocket it's literally exactly what you see.

My only complaint is that there's not a pocket for a notepad - if this had been designed for a padfolio it'd be perfect.
I bought one for a friend and loved it so much I bought another for myself.
It has exterior pockets but they're very tight and thick or delicate paper may not fit or may tear.
Inside there is a built in accordion file and pencil pouch. It's nylon with a mesh see-through insert so it's not as sturdy as canvas but I've not had any issues.
I use this binder a couple of times a week and it's held up perfectly. That being said if I were using this all day every day for school I'd expect it to wear around the accordion file and possibly the pencil pouch zipper. I have not used the 3 ring binder other than a test click. I'd be more concerned about keeping the exterior clean and bright which I expect to dull and wear.
Overall, if you are looking for a durable, inexpensive, long lasting binder - this isn't for you. If you want a fun, colorful, exciting binder then this is the one for you. I play D&D and keep my RPG materials in this binder as a shocking contrast to the 3 black leather padfolios I use for work. No more character sheets falling out in the middle of a board meeting!

I'm pleasantly surprised. Just got in the mail today. I bought this for my third and first grader homeschoolers as well as my two future homeschoolers. I wanted the accordion file so I could prep one month at a time. What I really like on first inspection is that since it velcros closed, there is no zipper around the edge which makes your working surface flat. Which is definitely a plus for us.

It looks like it's about a 2-3 inch binder, so lots of space. There's lots of pocket in it which I wanted so the kids could have all the space they needed for pencils, crayon, rulers, etc. It seems sturdy and durable. I don't forsee these getting too beat up since my kids are not going to public school, so we'll see how they hold up long term.

I don't see any cons about this binder upon first inspection. It was delivered perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this brand, even the $22 ones. The average price that I could find for these type of binders was $30. I got 2 of the sweet pea ones for $10 which is a steal. And I got 2 of the navy blue ones for $22. I'm hoping these last a very long time.
