Crimes in Wilmington: What's Happening in The Community?

Although Wilmington is a great place to live, it has crime like many other cities. This is a safe environment to raise a family, but some bad apples try to threaten that by committing petty crimes such as burglary, theft, and graffiting walls.

The highest amount of crime in Wilmington comes from burglary. According to the Los Angeles Times crime statistics page, there were 194 burglaries reported in Wilmington in 2017.

People should care about crimes in our community because we have to be informed about what happens around us. Citizens need to be aware of things to look for to stay safe and keep their families safe. We should have empathy for our fellow townspeople because we all have the same goal: make Wilmington a safe place to live.
