Namitha - Bigg Boss Tamil Contestant: Biography

Namitha is one of the most sought after South Indian film actresses. After competing in the Miss India pageant in the year 2001 when Celina Jaitley was crowned Miss India, she made her debut on the big screen in 2002 with Telugu film Sontham followed by Gemini.
Her first Tamil movie was Engal Anna in 2004. She is best known for her roles in movies like Englishkaran, Kovai Brothers, Billa, Azhagiya Tamil Magan.She also recently acted in Malayalam blockbuster Puli Murugan. Namitha is believed to be proficient in Karate.
The actress has also been an advocate on safe driving in 2012.

Standing amongst the tallest actresses with a height of 6'2'', Namitha made her debut in Hindi films in the year 2006 with the film Love Ke Chakkar Mein.
