In an exclusive interview, she opened up about her character in the show and said, "In Ramayan, I play the character of Urmila, Lakshmana's wife. She is as dedicated to Sita as Lakshmana was to Rama. She was ready to accompany Lakshmana during their exile; however, Lakshmana asked her to stay back to look after his ageing parents.”
She also said, "Whenever you do a new role, there is always that excitement and nervousness too, as you want to do justice to the role; the audience should connect with you. So it's both exciting and a little bit of nervousness,"
