This Park is located in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh and was declared a protected area in 1999. It's a prime habitat to many animals such as blue sheep, snow leopard, Himalyan brown bear, Himalayan thar and musk deer among 180 species of birds and mammals. Apart from conserving wildlife, the Park runs programmes that provide a sustainable living for people living on the periphery of the conservation area. The best time to visit this Park is autumn as animals start their seasonal migration to lower altitudes.
