Reykjavik

The capital of the country, Reykjavik is an island nation dotted with a number of interesting attractions catering to various kinds of travellers. The city is quite significant in the history of the Vikings. Some of the must-visit places in the city are the National Museum of Iceland, Hallgrímskirkja, The Sun Voyager and Harpa. Grindavík is a fishing town in Iceland and most of the town’s inhabitants are in the fishing industry. The town is renowned for its iconic attraction, the Blue Lagoon, the geothermal spas. This must-visit attraction in Iceland is around 5 km from the town centre. People bathe here in the natural thermal blue water and the water from the underground hot springs touches 37-39 degrees Celsius. It is believed that bathing in these hot springs is extremely beneficial for skin and overall health.
