'KH 234': Trisha to pair up with Kamal Haasan in Mani Ratnam's directorial

Kamal Haasan has joined hands with director Mani Ratnam for his 234th film, and the surprise announcement was made on the occasion of the actor's last birthday. The reunion of the two legendary stars has been tentatively titled 'KH 234' and seems like there is going to be another reunion. The latest report doing rounds regarding 'KH 234' is that Trisha is to pair up with Kamal Haasan in Mani Ratnam's directorial.The shooting of 'KH 234' will take time to commence as both the director and actor are busy with their prior commitments. In the meantime, the makers have been finalizing the cast and crew.
Trisha has been reportedly in talks for the female lead of 'KH 234' and it will be the actress's third film with Kamal Haasan after 'Manmadhan Ambu' and 'Thoongavanam' if all goes well with the plan. Also, it will be back-to-back biggies for the actress as she is said to be playing the female lead opposite Vijay in 'Thalapathy 67', which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Kamal Haasan is currently filming for 'Indian 2' with director Shankar, and the film is expected to arrive in theatres during the 2023 Dussehra. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is also said to be doing a quickie with director H Vinoth.
On the other hand, Mani Ratnam is busy with the post-production and final work of 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', and the much-awaited sequel is announced to release on April 28, 2023.
