Actress Antara Mali, famous for her roles in Ram Gopal Varma films during the early 2000s, vanished from Bollywood after a string of movies.She started her Bollywood journey in 1998 with “Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge,” and made a mark in films like “Prema Katha,” “Mast,” “Road,” “Company,” and “Darna Mana Hai.”
Antara Mali left the film industry in 2005 following the failure of her self-written and directed movie “Mr Ya Miss” at the Box Office.However, she resurfaced in 2010, surprising her fans with her appearance in “And Once Again,” a movie directed by Amol Palekar, where she played a monk and even shaved her head.
The film also starred Rajat Kapoor and Rituparna Sengupta.
Born to renowned Indian photographer Jagdish Mali, Antara Mali married Che Kurrien, the editor of GQ magazine, in a private ceremony on June 12, 2009.
