Neelathamara(Malayalam 2009) is really a nice movie which is not more than2 hours..just as a short film.Its the remaking of an old film which released 30 years ago with the same title.
neelathamara is a female centric film with majority of freshers. With the nice script of M.T.Vasudevan Nair and from the hit maker Laljose the film had become something nice to see,which is not boring.
The story starts in the present time and later it moves as flash back before some years.The heroine(Archana kavi) comes as a house maid to the land lady.The land lady’s son the hero (kailas)who doing his final year LLB return home and gets attracted to the girl.He makes advantage of the girl and later gets married to his relative.They sends the girl out of the house and gets married to another guy who is her relative.The girl came back after years and remembers the story as she saw her old photos.
The name neelathamara suits the film,in the story there is a blue coloured lotus in the pond near a temple, which blossoms when we offers prayers.
The movie has got Vidyasagars great music.The background score and the original tracks is also nice.
Nice camera and more over the great script from great writer.
The pictorization also needs appreciation.
The movie ends iat unexpected time and has no such amazing climax.Its sure that it won’t make the audience unhappy.
