Fiscal Year FY 2011 Continuing Resolution Reductions by Department

While these cuts and reductions are being touted in the media as “The Biggest Cut in History!” VS “Not Big Enough!”, the bottom line is that shaving off $78.5 billion (annualized) off the U.S. Federal Budget is not a significant cut when it comes to costs to the individual U.S. citizen, or compared to the total U.S. Federal Budget allotted for 2011 – nor is this trim reflective of “downsizing” the government in the slightest.  Unfortunately, these cuts will only impact the individuals and corporations that utilize these programs to survive.
