How to Reset a Linksys Range Extender?

1. Go to your Linksys range extender and make sure it is plugged into the wall.
2. Locate the “Reset” button on the side of the range extender.
3. Press and hold the “Reset” button down for 10 seconds.
4. Release the button to allow the extender to reset back to factory settings.

Changing the range extender’s administrator password:

1. Open a browser to log in to the web-based setup page of your range extender.
2. Enter your range extender’s admin Password.
3. On the web-based setup page, click Management under Administration.
4. Enter your preferred administrator password for the range extender in the Extender Password and Re-enter to confirm fields.
5. Click save button.
