I recently went here to the Sikh Gurdwara. I loved my time here. Very nice. I went in the evening. Bhajans aka devotional songs were being played with instruments and vocals. Amazing music with translation in English from Gurmukhi.

Lots of folks were here in the evening. I have been to several Sikh temples in India including the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, India.

For a unique moving cultural experience I would recommend to go in the evening after 8pm to experience the music and atmosphere that was very moving.

Look forward to returning in the future!

It is a very nice gurudwara located near the foothills of Fremont. It's very serene and has been operational during this time too.

They had nice decorations up for Diwali of 2020 and followed all the covid protocols. They will provide you with a sanitizer before you enter the main prayer room. And the entire prayer room is marked with stickers of where one can sit. Everyone inside wears a mask.

They provided langar in a to-go box, which is very hygienic. And they accept food donations that can be kept outside the main prayer hall. The parking lot is huge and it's very easy to find parking. Overall a great place to find some peace during these times.

Don't come here if you wear socks, tank tops, skirts etc. They have a pretty big banner hanging on the wall, next to hangar hall which restrict people wearing the apparels mentioned above. Also I understand that Sikhs have norms to cover their head before coming in? How about childrens under 5? They going to restrict you to enter in case your child has not covered his head. The entire Sikhism stands on equality and serving people however, if you don't follow the above mentioned restrictions placed by them they won't allow you to come in or serve you food. On the contrary all gurudwara ( Sikh Temple) in US specifically and in India have different norms, by laws all together therefore there is no one specific rule or laws governs it. some gurdwaras are having seating system, best instance is San Jose Gurudwara they have seating arrangements in dining hall ( Langar hall) as well as couple of Gurudwara's in So-cal.

Fremont gurudwara is a place where community get together for the God 's worship and workers work as volunteers to cook food early in the morning till late night . Food is served to all without distinction of cast and creed as much you can eat .
The followers are from India northern state of Punjab settled in US and very progressive religion practiced through all the word with conviction that good for humanity is from the heart and Seva for all

Let me begin by saying its a holy place. I find it so peaceful ad whenever I have stress or tension I find solace here. Best time is morning time to visit. You get Langar (free food in the holy kitchen) almost through out the day and it is always crowded. The sound of the shabads or the gurubani is so soothing. The dedication of the sewadaars is overwhelming. The kara prasad isreally too good and satisfying. Wahe Guru ji da khalsa , te wahe Guruji ki fateh

A peaceful place for meditation and very good vegetarian food prepared by volunteers.

In line with the Sikh teaching's any person of any background or religion is welcome. The place is in a very nice setting, spacious and open. If you have never been to a Sikh temple you might be a bit lost but just follow another visitor to the meditation hall. Say a small prayer and enjoy the food (you have o sit on the floor) a small donation in prayer hall is recommended but not required.

Lot of people with Turbans but do not worry a very welcoming bunch ; ) and they are not what many people confuse them to be. They are Sikhs & not .................

Very peaceful place where all religion welcome. It situated in very nice place of Fremont with the hill view. Almost everyday they arrange Kirtana - a musical program/song where they talk about God. Come and Cool down here, seat for some minutes for meditation. They also offer Langar - free food for all - Lunch and dinner.
