Came by the other day to check out the center in the middle of Little India.

There appeared to be numerous entrances so definitely keep track of the one that was used to go in.

The center is more on the dated side and each floor was sorted by their contents. For example, one floor had men's clothing while another floor featured grocery items. There was also another level for cosmetics.

The center is no frills and more of a 2 star shop with more dated fixtures and lighting.

Absolute chaos. Prices are not cheap. You cannot hardly even walk down an aisle because it's so crowded. The products and produce all feel like they're old or been sitting on the shelves a long time. I think if you're going to come here you need to come during off hours like early or late and not on the weekends. Place is open 24 hours I believe. Mostly I rated this place a one because it is by far not cheap at all and you can buy most of the stuff in here at smaller stores for cheaper. There's absolutely no reason to come here for shopping other than to witness the chaotic crowds.

Great one stop shop that's been there for years but it's definitely not cheap anymore and it's so difficult to navigate the aisles and shop with basket in one hand. It can be pure chaos at busy hours and there are so many floors and so difficult to find anything. Restrooms are not clean but they do have a great variety of things if one can't find in other stores. Very hard to get taxi back to the hotel and had to wait long hours.

(GASP; Omg! This place is BIG) that's what she said!

Mustafa Center is definitely a must see! I absolutely loved it here; so much to see, and you have all the time to do it. Yup, you heard me right, this place is open 24/7 which was perfect for me because I found myself jet-lagged a couple days and wondered in here all hours of the night.

Mustafa Center is located near the Ferrer Park MRT and on a busy street. It offers up to six levels and sells everything that you need! Items from personal care, entertainment, food and snacks, DVDs and Jewelry. Most of the workers here are very helpful if you ask them for anything. They also have a lift located in the front of the store. They offer small little baskets for you to put your things in.

One thing that I noticed here is that the price is for certain things such as electronics are very expensive! If you do the research and look online it would be a lot less if you buy it from Amazon (IJS). I advise you to just do your research online before buying items so you're not feeling that if you're getting ripped off. Even the headphones are quite expensive.

I literally spent over 4 hours in here; and left out broke :-) I purchase me a Samsonite backpack, some headphones and lots of perfumes (since they had great deals on if you buy 2 versus 1).

All in all, it's a very good store and it's a must one coming and visiting Singapore! Be prepared to spend hours here. I would advise to also come at night rather in the morning as the morning can be quite busy.

      Happy shopping!

We had jetlag and kept waking up at 5am every single morning. There isn't that much to do in Singapore early in the morning. Yes, we went to a hawker centre and had breakfast. In fact, we even went to a different spot for a second breakfast but we were done with both by 7am.

      What now?

Mustafa Centre was the answer. This place is not shiny and fancy like many of the malls in Singapore. It's not super clean and not glamorous and it's not trying to be. However, you can pretty much find anything you need here at any time during the day or night. I was impressed.

We walked up and down the aisles and curiously studied things we had never seen before. We ended up buying a box of Singapore tea as a souvenir for our friend. Strolling around Mustafa Centre was a great way to kill an hour.

Honestly Mustafa is one of those places you have to see to believe, as I don't believe any reviews will do it justice! It's a massive, multiple level centre that has anything you could ever want. Baby clothes, toothpaste, fresh fruits, gold, electronics, ramen from all over the world, idk if you can imagine they probably have it. Best of all, the prices here are a lot cheaper than most supermarkets.
This madness is open 24/7, so there's no excuses as to why you can't go. Must buys for me include kaya, Ovomaltine, Kinder hippos, and himalaya lip balm.

I learned of this place from the CNN Bourdain show, Layover. Walked here from Little India. What one ought to do is get off at Farrer Park and walk 2 blocks west!! Much easier to do, esp. with the horrible air quality and the stifling humidity.

Here i found my sandalwood soap from Mysore!! So cheap. Also got the Tiger Balm liquid mosquito spray my cousin swears by---but the kicker: made in SG jitron peds stethoscope for like $49 USD!

      Cheap thrills
Open 24hrs, with a cafe outside for cheap Indian chai, kathi, naan, etc

This place will make u frustrated if you don't enjoy Bric a brac, flea-type browsing, for the whole behemothal place lacks order if ure hunting down something v specific, and quickly too.Ain't gonna happen.

Floors of stuff, everywhere. Hundreds of same items...your eyes will bug out!

Quite the hustle and bustle place for shopping. One of the only businesses in Singapore for 24hr shopping.
The place has so many types of things to buy. I use this place for so many items I cant find in Japan. And even items that I look for in other countries.
The prices are very reasonable and the stock is quite large.
The store does feel like a bit of a danger since almost a majority of the floor space is used for product placement and rows sales items.
Certain days of the week are much more busy like Weekends. So I would avoid those days if you can.

This place is massive! This was one of the first places I knew I wanted to visit in Singapore. Words cannot describe the size of this place. By US standards, perhaps it's between a 24 hour Macy's and a Walmart on steroids! Here, you can buy literally everything. First piece of advice would be to familiarize yourself with the signage regarding where things are. Take a photo on your cell phone and keep it with you throughout your visit. This will help when you are wondering where to find houseware items and beauty products or electronics and jewelry.

You cannot leave Singapore without a trip to Mustafa. This place is quintessential Singapore; everybody shops here.
