The circumstances surrounding the death of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar are back in focus and so is the Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi. So, what happened to Room 345 where Pushkar allegedly committed suicide? "The suite remains closed to guests since the incident while the rest of the floor is fully operational," a hotel spokesperson said.

"The hotel has complied with every request made by the authorities and continues to extend its cooperation to the fullest. The comfort and well-being of our guests is foremost in our mind and we follow only the best practices to ensure guest safety and security."

On January 17, 2014, Pushkar's body was found in the hotel suite after she allegedly overdosed on sleeping pills. This came a day after she had a public spat on Twitter with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar over her alleged relationship with Tharoor.
