Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti celebrations on today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Today marks the 168th birth anniversary of notable Keralite social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Special prayers and pujas will be held at Vayalvaram house in Chempazhanthy, Guru's birthplace. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Maha sammelanam to be held at Chempazhanthy gurukulam. Kadakampally Surendran MLA, Swami Satchidananda, Swami Sukshmananda and Swami Subhagananda will also attend the event. Sree Narayana Philosophical Congress will be inaugurated by Leader of Opposition VD Satheeshan and Minister G R Anil.

A rally will be conducted at 4.30 pm in Sivagiri. The jayanti celebrations will be organized in 7000 branches of SNDP yogam and also by other Sree Narayana organisations. Union minister V Muraleedharan will inaugurate the Jayanti conference held at Sivagiri. Sree Narayana Dharma Sangam Trust President Swami Satchidananda, General Secretary Swami Ritambharananda Treasurer Swami Saradananda, Swami Subhamgananda and Swami Sandrananda will lead the Jayanti celebrations.
