KH234 is titled Thug Life: Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam team up for another gangster film

What ensues is some brilliantly choreographed action sequences by the AnbAriv duo. It has been captured by the equally brilliant cinematographer Ravi K Chandran.

The intriguing part of the teaser is the South Tamil Nadu dialect and the dialogues that are incongruous with the costumes and the dystopian setting. It is unclear whether the film is set in the past or the future or a fantasy world. This suspense seems to be the whole point of the teaser.

The teaser has become an instant hit and has left fans wondering what the film is all about.

The makers also announced that Thug Life stars Dulquer Salmaan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi in pivotal roles. AR Rahman has composed the music for the film, and Sreekar Prasad will be editing it. The movie marks the second collaboration of Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan, who made Nayakan back in 1987.
