The film follows the story of how he ends up falling in love with one of the female guests, played by Pooja Devariya, who is also making her debut in Kannada. “It is a nice romantic comedy film, which revolves around the story that happens in four days,” he added.

“I saw Senna Hegde’s 0-41*, which is a 90-minute film. Which Anurag Kashyap liked and he brought the film. He will be releasing it under his banner. He (Senna) had shot it with a budget of Rs 7 lakh. When I watched it, I was pretty impressed by his directorial skills. The best part of the film will be the way he narrates the story,” said Diganth, who also quipped that he got the lead role in the film because Senna was aware that he was fluent in Tulu.

Senna hails from Kasaragod, Kerala, where the majority of the population speak Tulu.

Festive offer

Diganth is currently focusing on his career in Kannada films. His debut Bollywood project has also been shelved. “I was shooting for a Hindi film called Ticket To Bollywood. About 80 percent of the film is done. I don’t know will it be completed in near future,” he added.

When asked his experience about working in Hindi films, he said working is easy in Bollywood. “I feel in south Indian industry we work harder than the Hindi films. They take only three shots a day, where we finish three scenes a day. We work really hard. They just want to take good shots and relax,” he said.
