Two Radicalized Muslim Youths, Two Islamic Clerics Arrested For Hindutva Activist Kishan Bharwad Murder Case In Gujarat’s Dhandhuka.

The Pistol used in the murder and five cartridges had been provided by Jamalpur resident Maulana Mohammad Ayub Javarwala to the radicalized Muslim youths….. Maulana Qamar Ghani Usmani provoked for murder for the alleged blasphemy. The role of Muslim clerics are very much clear in this case.

Chandrachud Singh | HENB | Ahmedabad | January 30, 2022: Investigation into the murder of a Hindutva activist  associated with VHP and Bajrangdal  in Dhandhuka on Tuesday led to the arrest of two radicalized Muslim youths. According to the police, the involvement of a Delhi-based cleric named Maulana Qamar Ghani Usmani of Tahreek-Farooghe-Islam, who had allegedly radicalized the two accused youths to take revenge for ‘blasphemy’, has also come to light. Several security agencies and Gujarat ATS are working with Ahmedabad rural police to probe if there is a larger conspiracy in the incident. The case was transferred to Gujarat ATS (Anti Terrorism Squad) for proper and immediate investigation.

The deceased, identified as Kishan Bharwad (Boliya ), is said to have been associated with right wing Hindu organisations working for rescue Hindu girls from Love Jihad trap and saving cows from illegal slaughter rackets. About 20 days ago, he had posted an objectionable video on Facebook which is said to have hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community. This led to registration of an offence against Bharwad at the Dhandhuka police station for which he was arrested and later released  on bail.

On Tuesday evening, Bharwad was riding pillion with a friend near Modhwada in Dhandhuka when two youths on a motorcycle approached him and fired on Bharwad. He died on the spot and a FIR of murder was filed in Dhandhuka.

During investigation CCTV cameras were checked, which revealed that a motorcycle was constantly following Bharwad on the day of the murder and the person riding pillion fired two rounds at him.

The two persons were later arrested and were identified as Shabbir Chopda (25) and Imtiyaz Pathan (27), both residents of Dhandhuka. On the day of murder, Pathan was riding the motorcycle while Chopda was in the pillion and had fired a shot from a country-made pistol. Further investigation revealed the two youths have extremist views and are radicalized. According to police, the weapon used in the murder and five cartridges had been provided by Jamalpur resident identified as Maulana Mohammad Ayub Javarwala (51), who was also later arrested by the cops.

Chopda and Pathan were presented in court on Friday and sent in nine-day police remand.

Later, from a police source (also reported by the Aajtak+),  it is confirmed that ATS (Anti Terrorism Squad) of Gujarat Police has arrested Maulana Qamar Ghani Usmani from Delhi. Ghani also provoked Shabbir and Imtiyaz to kill Kishan on the count of alleged blasphemy.

Several security agencies and Gujarat ATS are currently working in coordination with the Ahmedabad rural police to investigate if there is a larger conspiracy involved in the murder. On Friday state home minister Harsh Sanghavi visited Bharwad’s house, and took note of the deceased’s 20 day old daughter.

Addressing the media, Sanghavi said if needed a special public prosecutor will be appointed in the case and nobody will be spared involved in the brutal murder of Kishan Bharwad.

Anyway, the home-grown Jihadi rackets are growing in Gujarat. BJP Govt in Gujarat must be highly concerned about it.
