El Salvador’s large population and limited amount of land stretches natural resources to their breaking points and contributes to housing shortages. Only about half of the people living in rural areas can read or write.

In 2023, FFTP built 70 homes, for a total of 989 homes since inception, providing families living in poverty with safe shelter.

FFTP supported 12 months of clinical staff salaries and operational expenses in the pediatric oncology program at Centro Medico Ayúdame a Vivir.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic impact, FFTP donated 3,194 food packages to the most vulnerable families in El Salvador.

FFTP works with nine children’s homes as part of the Angels Of Hope program in El Salvador, providing shelter for 149 vulnerable children.

Several FFTP projects are geared toward the production of protein-rich foods. such as chickens, laying hens, goats and Pelibuey sheep.

Our Impact in El Salvador

FFTP shipped 168 tractor trailer loads of aid, including food, medicine and health care equipment.

2022

FFTP and its partner FUNHOPO distributed 3,335 bags of rice, 4,781 sacks of beans, 9,740 boxes of canned food, 1,102 bags of flour and 24,890 boxes of MannaPack fortified rice to feed 551,524 people. The distribution focused on soup kitchens for the elderly and the indigent, nursing homes, daycare centers and nine Angels of Hope homes for children and young people.

FFTP continued construction the Ayalitas Sustainable Community Development Project, which will benefit 48 families and includes bakery workshops, computer workshops and income-generation projects to help residents flourish on their own
