Veteran actor Kamal Haasan met the crew of the Malayalam movie 'Manjummel Boys', written and directed by Chidambaram. The director posted a picture of his team with the Tamil superstar and wrote, "And here comes the climax."

Let's rewind to 1991 when his iconic romantic thriller 'Gunaa' hit the screens. Before the release of the film, the 'Guna caves' were known as the Devil's Kitchen, with reports indicating that around 13 individuals had lost their lives in that eerie cave.
This Kamal Hassan movie made the cave famous as 'Guna caves'. It is almost 6 km away from the Kodaikanal lakes and is more than 600 feet deep. The actor also shared a lot of facts about Guna caves with Chidambaram.
Jointly produced by Babu Shahir, Soubin Shahir and Shawn Antony under the banner of Parava Films, Manjummel Boys is an original story that takes place in 2006. The story revolves around a group of friends, whose leisure trip takes an unexpected tragic turn when one of them gets trapped inside the Guna Cave.
Recently, actor-turned-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin also praised the movie. Talking more about the success of the movie in an interview, Chidambaram said, "It was a very proud moment. Never thought the audience in Tamil Nadu would love this movie so much. We feel that including the famous song 'Kanmani' of Gunaa in Manjummel boys attracted the viewers".
