Pakistan's 'Chacha Cricket' Names His Favourite Cricketer And It Is Not Babar Azam!

Undoubtedly, one of the biggest two names in cricket currently, India's Virat Kohli and Pakistan's Babar Azam enjoys massive fan following across the globe. While Kohli is already a legend in the sport, Azam is still taking steps into super stardom.

Both Kohli and Azam have shown mutual admiration and respect for each other on several occasions, however, not the same can be said about their fan bases on social media.

Known as 'Chacha Cricket', one of the oldest and most recognised fans of Pakistan cricket team, Chaudhry Abdul Jalil has named former India captain as his favourite from the current era.

Speaking on Nadir Ali's YouTube Channel, the 73-year-old stated that former India skipper MS Dhoni is all his favourite, while hoping that Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan surpass Kohli soon. 

Here's what Chacha said

"Iss time aap Virat Kohli ko kehn sakte hai. Usne apni team le liye bahut run banaye hai (In current era, Virat Kohli, he has scored a lot of runs for his team). Fir ek toh Dhoni aajata hai, usne teeno format jeete hue hai, vo duniya ka vahid captain hai (Then comes MS Dhoni, who has won titles across formats)."

Both Pakistan and India will be playing against each other in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023, which starts August 30, and then in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India on October 14.
