Sonarqube rejecting projectId for GitLab analysis

• what are you trying to achieve
  Analysis completed, attempting to complete configuration of DevOps Platform Integration. Form is requesting projected, but that detail is not available at expected location:
  

  

• what have you tried so far to achieve this
  Scanned server ce.log and found analysis with detail id=AYHeurAOMeSggZqRhtyn but this is obviously not correct, as it is NOT fully numeric. There is NO projectId visible on the Overview page.
