    Although he appears as a baby during Correrias de Patoruzito, the story of Upa, Patoruzu's younger brother, is sadder and more singular in the adult version. He was born seven months and deprived of the atavistic traits of the Patoruzek—superhuman strength, overgrown thumbs, and above all the vibrant cry of “Huija!” uttered upon seeing the light—his father locks him up in a cave to preserve the family's honor.
