Located on Isla Boca Brava on Panama’s Pacific coast in the Gulf of Chiriqui, just 60 miles south from Costa Rica. Selva Terra is only 1 hour away from David Airport. Within close proximity to Boca Chica Panama, our tropical oasis is only accessible by boat.
The fastest way to get here is via plane from Panama City (PTY) to David (DAV). Two airlines operate this route daily, with 5-6 flights per day and the flight time only 55 mins. Transportation from David Airport to the island is always included in your stay.
Arriving in Panama City
A holiday should be made stress-free. That’s why our experience packages include travel planning and logistics from the moment you arrive in the country. You can be sure to enjoy a night in the capital and explore Panama’s rich heritage, before heading to the island the following day.

Arriving
in DAVID
David Airport (DAV) is just a 55 minute flight away from Panama City and two airlines run the PTY-DAV route: Copa Airlines and Air Panama. Upon your arrival in David Airport, you will be greeted by our driver with a sign. Our private transportation will bring you to Boca Chica or Chorcha marina depending on the tide conditions. From Boca Chica, the boat ride is only 15 minutes, from Chorcha it is 40 minutes. Overall the journey from the airport to the island takes 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.

What if I’m flying straight through from my international flight?:
If you don’t want to spend the night in the capital and plan to make your way to David after your international flight, make sure that your international flight arrives in Panama City no later than 14:00.
